At Least........

This week has been full has been of me sighing and saying to myself, "Well, at least........".

It all started with Aubrey and her major digression in potty training. I am really getting frustrated. I decided I need to just buckle down and keep panties on her, or give up for now and keep a pull up on her. At this point it looks like pull ups are going to win. We really want this baby to wait a few more weeks to come, and with the contractions I have been having I need to take it easy. Anyway, so Aubrey has several accidents a day. *sigh* But, AT LEAST she can always show me right where she was when she had the accident so I can get it cleaned up off the carpet or sofa or where ever it was she did it. All I do is ask her to show me where she went pee pee, and she does!

Aubrey has been fascinated with the water dispenser on our refrigerator. I don't always remember to lock it and have had to clean up several lakes of water off the floor.....but, AT LEAST my floor is getting some what of a cleaning by her water messes. Right? Well, the other morning I left Aubrey playing in the front room and went to check my email. Wesley came with me. I wasn't even at the computer for 5 minutes and went back out to find Aubrey in the kitchen, on a stool, at the refrigerator, filling up cups with water to mix in the Nesquik container!! mmmmmmmmmmmm...yummy.

Aubrey feeling sorry....... Ya gotta love my poser of a son??

You see the trail of chocolate water across the floor? But, AT LEAST it wasn't on the carpet. And, AT LEAST I have a good stain remover to get the chocolate mess out of her clothes. And AT LEAST Wesley is a big helper and helped me get things cleaned up. And, AT LEAST Aubrey is so stinkin' cute and kept saying, "I sorry mom, I sorry."

And AT LEAST she isn't always a little stinker. She is a really good girl and keeps her "curiosities" under control for the most part.

Finally, AT LEAST I have great friends with great ideas and I am able to do fun projects that make me feel good about myself and my abilities..........

Like this super cute valentine wreath! I love it! I love decorating for any holiday or anything really.

And this super cute valentine banner......It says "Be Mine" just in case you can't tell.

And here is my little display on my front entry table.......simple and cute. Just needs a little touch up with some ribbon through the ivy around the bears and it will be complete. :) I have never really decorated for valentines day, so it has been something fun to do.
And so life goes on and I am doing better and better to just relax and look for the good in things. Which isn't always easy. But sure makes life more pleasant. Attitude is everything, right?????

Way to stay positive. I need to follow your example.

Take it easy and stay off your feet as much as possible. You don't want the baby coming too early.

AT LEAST you have a positive attitude through everything!! :) Sorry to hear about your contractions... I am in the same boat. :( Take it easy... as much as you can with 2 kids at home right?! :)

Sounds like you are getting plenty of practice staying positive. Remember toddlerhood is just practice for TEENHOOD! Have fun practicing. Thanks for the reminder to accentuate the positive!

Your such a positive person! (It's because Libras are just that way. Yes, you're in the cusp, but I claim you as a Libra!) Your crafting looks great and looks like so much fun! I miss your creative ideas that always helped me out!

Definitely stay off your feet! The twins came at 35 weeks and they still had to stay in the hospital for about a week each. Keep that little girl in there!!

Love the wreath!!! I like it all but the wreath is really cool! Keep the faith which is the secret to your possitive attitude.

PS I just wanted to add that this story reminded me of the days when you and Cassie used to get into the flour. It would be all over the kitchen and dinning room as well as on the carpet and both of you. Of course I have tons more stories like that. Now we have Max and sometimes he makes the worse messes and I just say, "Well at least he's a very good dog. He loves and protects my Kelly and Lindsey." LOL Oh and about the contractions, I always did that too, maybe try drinking more water??? Sometimes it's because you are dehydrated that you get them. I had contractions for two months before Kylie was born and three months before you were born. Not fun! Take care of yourself we love ya.
