Wesley had his friend, Brayden, over to play this week. Brayden brought over these blocks to play with. They are really neat blocks. They are foam, which I like much better than the cardboard type blocks that I have usually seen around. The kids LOVED playing with them. Honestly, I wanted to get down on the floor with them and build something, too. I am gonna have to look around and see about buying some. The kids built everything from bird houses and towers, to birthday cakes. And then had fun "bashing" them down.
Wesley and Brayden are 2 of 3 boys in their primary class. And then there are about 7 girls. Wesley has been the only boy in there for a couple of weeks. He does not like that at all. He tells me on Sunday morning that if his teachers are not there and he is the only boy, that he does not want to go to class. Poor kid. Someday he won't mind it so much. LOL
Brayden reminds me so much of Davis, Danelle!!! Don't you think?
Aubrey was content building me cakes and other "foods".
Speaking of food..........
This is quite embarrassing, but this is a peak into my very unorganized pantry. (Uhg! I can't believe I am showing y'all this!!)
A friend of mine organized it for me once a while back (thanks Vanessa). But here it is, back to its' miserable state of unorganized food items; I need some serious help.
And this is a peak into my very unorganized beginnings of a basic food storage. We are trying to reorganize things and make better use of space so we can continue to build on what we have already stored. So, we pulled EVERYTHING out of our bedroom closet (that is where the food storage has been), and are attempting to figure out shelving and space for our meager supply of food. Well, I found the GREATEST shelves at Shelf Reliance (link is at the side of my blog to their blog). They are for most can sizes, including #10's. I WANT THEM DESPERATELY!! It would save me a lot of space, and would fit in my walk in closet. So, they happen to be having a contest right now.......a, 'messy pantry and food storage room make over' contest. These are the two pics I entered into the contest and I am HOPING and PRAYING I win!!!! The contest deadline is this very evening, and then they will pick 5 finalist. Now, IF I am so lucky as to make it, WILL Y'ALL PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me out and vote for me??? I will let you know more, once I myself know more. Until then, keep your fingers crossed for me. :)
