Life Changes...

Life Changes. And boy has it changed for us. Or at least, for me and the kids:). No more sleeping in, braking up little squabbles between Wes and Aubrey; No more fights over what show to watch for quiet time, or racing to the table to get the "clean spot" for lunch. Hello to being up before the sun to pack school lunch, and actually being awake to kiss my husband good-bye before he leaves to work. Hello to early morning walks around the lake and 9:15 Jazzercise! My favorite part of all of this change, is seeing my son so excited for kindergarten! He is excited to get on the bus each morning; and then I look forward to him coming home so he can tell me about his day. He is so cute to watch. His face lights up as he tells me about the fun things they did and the friends from church and the neighborhood he sees at school. So, it has only been 3 days, but things are going well and Wesley is happy. That makes me happy. Lets pray it continues to be so exciting!!!

Aubrey is now enrolled in a gymnastics class and is doing really well. We needed something for her. She is that middle child feeling left out. The baby gets fussed over all day and then Wesley has been in the spot light, since this is his "big" year starting school. So, now Aubrey has something she can feel good about and looks forward to. I am impressed with how quickly she is catching on.

The first day of kindergarten......Everyone was up bright and early to bid Wesley farewell for the day and to wish him good luck. He is such a silly kid!

He wanted to take the bus the first day, which was hard for me to agree to, however how can ya tell the kid no? So, thanks to the great example of a woman from church, we got him on the bus and then we drove up to the school so I could meet Wesley's teacher and see that the bus really would get him to the school:) By the time I got to his classroom, he was there in his seat, coloring! So, I snapped a picture of him, shook his teachers hand, and left. There is something about meeting the teacher that puts a moms mind at ease. Ms. Watson seems like a very kind woman. She is young, and very cute. Good combo for my son. I have heard nothing but good about her, so that makes me happy.

Okay, this is actually the 2nd day of school, but here is Wesley returning home!

I know these are not very good pics. This is Aubrey hanging on one of the bars. They brought their favorite stuffed animals to class this day. They had to hold the doll, in Aubrey's case, between their legs and then swing out and drop it in the yellow bucket. They did all of their normal routines this way; Holding the doll between their legs and doing back somersaults, walking the balance beam, jumping, etc. It was cute.

Waiting her turn....

Cute girls!! Aubrey is in the same class as her friend from Church, Annabelle. Savanah is the cutie in blue, and is Annabelles little sister.

Wesley's Birthday Party

THE BIRTHDAY BOY ON HIS NEW SCOOTER HIS FRIENDS WYATT AND CADE GOT FOR HIM.

SO, AS THE BOYS ARRIVED AT THE PARTY, THEY EACH GOT A PLANE TO PLAY WITH.
14 BOYS; AND AUBREY:-)

THEN THE FUN STARTED...WE BAKED 10 CAKES A CRUMBLED THEM UP AND PUT ICING, COOL WHIP, AND PUDDING ON TOP. INSIDE WE HID FROGS, ARMY MEN, AND CRAZY TEETH. WE HAD ALL THE BOYS SEARCH FOR A PAIR OF TEETH AND THEN PUT THEM ON. ONE WORD; HILARIOUS!!!!!

THE GOGGLES WERE TO PROTECT THEIR EYES IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENTAL TOSS OF CAKE TO THE FACE.

THEY HAD A BLAST DIGGING THROUGH ALL THE GOOP.

SEE WHAT I MEAN??? HILARIOUS!!! I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING WHEN I SEE THESE PICS!!

THEN CAME THE CAKE FIGHT!!! NOT EVERYONE WANTED TO PARTICIPATE. SO SOME SAT OUT AND ATE POPSICLES. I WAS SURPRISED THAT WES WANTED TO SIT OUT. HE HAD BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THIS.

FUN!!

HITTIN' THE SHOWER!!

NEXT CAME THE WATER WAR; 14 BOYS AGAINST WESLEY'S DAD!

WOW! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???

OPENING GIFTS....WESLEY'S FAVORITE PART.

WE WENT TO CHILI'S FOR DINNER. WESLEY WANTED TO STAY HOME AND HAVE CEREAL! I SAID NO WAY! IS THAT MEAN? POOR KID DIDN'T EVEN GET TO HAVE WHAT HE REALLY WANTED FOR HIS BIRTHDAY DINNER. BUT HE WAS THRILLED TO GET A CAKE AND HAVE FRIES AND BLUE SLUSH AND BE SUNG TO. MOM AND DAD WERE POOPED! IT WAS A FUN DAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WESLEY!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Tingey Kids Update

Cali loves the excersaucer! She spins in full circles and grabs at, and chews on, all the fun toys. Her feet finally reach the bottom.....Daddy use to put a pillow under her feet so they didn't just dangle. It is hard to remember, at times, that she is still just a wee thing. I guess having older kids I feel like she is older than she is sometimes.

I just love this sweet girl! She is so fun, so happy, and has the greatest smile. She even has a cute little dimple on her cheek:)

Aubrey enjoying cake at a friends birthday party.

Wesley and his friends, Daniel and Natalie.

Love this picture of Aubrey!!! Love, love, love the outfit!!!

mmmmm......YUMMMY! Cali has been eating rice and is now trying out squash and carrots. So far, she likes it all. I love how babies are so curious about food and eating. I love how they watch you and get so excited. And then, they hit about 2 and it all ends. Everything is "yucky" or "gross". And you wonder how they survive!?

THE BOYS
Our neighborhood gang, at it again. Luke (the one in the red shirt behind the wagon) went in to get a kidney this past week. His mama gave him one of hers. They are in our prayers! They are a great family. Luke is so kind and the kids love to play with him. We are praying for a speedy recovery for him and his mom.

THE GIRLS

NEW HAIR!!!!

BE HONEST! WHAT DO YOU THINK???? IT IS A BIT REDDER THAN I WAS PLANNING..........BUT HEY, IT'S CHANGE. AND THAT IS WHAT I WAS SHOOTIN' FOR.
